Grounding Products

A grounding product is a conductive surface wired to the ground pin of a wall outlet, or to a rod pushed into soil outside. Products differ mainly in where you use them: a bed, a desk, a floor, a car seat. They also differ in the conductive material, which decides how they are cleaned and how long the conductivity lasts.

We look at how the product connects and what the conductive material is. Cleaning matters too, since lotions and the wrong detergent both ruin conductivity. We also check whether a tester is included, because you can’t trust a grounding product you cannot verify.
